6X12 Profiles
Steeped in tradition, our hefty 6x12 logs feature intricate
corner detailing plus a variety of chinking groove options. A hand-hewn finish can also be
added to your home for a more rustic look. Three profiles are available, but the saddle notch
corner option is currently not available in this size log.
8X6 Profiles
Two profiles are available in this size. The "D" (as
illustrated above) is a stout version of the 6" x 8" profile, giving it a more massive
appearance, and the Super Double Round adds a gently curved interior surface.
6X8 Profiles
We've been milling this perennial favorite, the D-profile
for many years. It is available in six different profiles. A hand-hewn finish can be
added to give a more rustic look to the exterior of your home. The 6x8 D profile is
illustrated above.
8X8 Profiles
The Super Double Round Profile (as illustrated above)
is popular with buyers preferring more massive logs with gently curved interior surfaces.

The process of kiln-drying removes and controls the excess amount of moisture in the wood products used to build your home, so our logs are lighter and easier to handle. The wood must be conditioned to the moisture content it will assume in the months and years after construction - otherwise it will tend to shrink and twist.
Our logs, beams and purlins are kiln-dried to an average moisture content of less than 19 percent graded by certified inspectors to meet or exceed Log Home Council standards and backed by a Lifetime Warranty.
